Email Us     The best way you can help the shelter cope with the exploding stray population in the country is by adopting a pet. However; there are still a lot of ways in which you can help if adoption isn't an option for you.

Here are some ideas!

Volunteers

One of the most valuable ways to contribute is through volunteering. If you would like to become a volunteer, please fill out our questionnaire and bring it to the shelter.

Cheatham County Animal Control is a beautifully designed facility; light and airy, and built in a lovely and peaceful location. The people who work and volunteer there are compassionate and hard working, and deeply committed to providing humane conditions for the animals. It is a great place to support, and something that the community can be proud of.

Donate Supplies

Although the county does provide funding for a lot of the basic supplies, there are many things you could donate which would greatly increase the quality of life of the animals, and ease the burden of the workers.

This page will routinely be updated to alert you to what supplies are most needed.
